The Oakland County Michigan Clerk/Register of Deeds maintains a "Fraud
Check" database here: http://www2.landaccess.com/cgibin/homepage?County=8039
(Account
required). Searching this database allows one to see what
documents have been filed and recorded under a particular name.
Types of documents include Warranty
Deeds, Quit
Claim Deeds, Mortgages,
Discharge
of Mortgages, Tax
Liens, Discharge
of Liens, Levy of
Execution, Sheriff’s
Deeds, Judgements, Divorces, etc.
The database contains records for both Allen Silvarman
and Allen Silverman,
with middle initial(s) B.
or B. I. There's
even an Allen B. L. Silvarman,
the "I" having been transmuted to an "L".
Real estate sales using warranty deeds and quit claim deeds are
often a red flag for mortgage fraud, as is using slightly different
names to make it more difficult to trace multiple transactions to the
same person, especially when they live and do business in both Farmington MI and Farmington Hills MI,
which are separate cities. http://www.excessivephonerates.com/mortgage%20fraud%20in%20Oakland%20County,%20MI.htm
Note the two Levy of Execution filings. A Levy of Execution is when
the Sherriff seizes your property based upon a court order to pay a
money judgment granted in a lawsuit.
